Training Overview

Emotional Intelligence Skills for Well-being in Education 

This practical training focuses on strengthening emotional intelligence skills that support educators’ well-being, effective communication, and positive relationships within school communities. Participants will develop greater self-awareness, learn strategies to manage emotions under pressure, and improve their ability to respond constructively in challenging situations.

Through interactive activities and real-life scenarios, educators will gain practical tools to enhance collaboration, reduce conflict, and contribute to emotionally safe and respectful learning environments. The training supports both personal resilience and professional effectiveness in everyday school settings.

Methodology and Assessment

The course follows an interactive, participant-centred methodology including workshops, group discussions, roleplay, case studies, reflection activities, and continuous formative feedback.

Training Materials and Resources

PowerPoint (PPT) presentations, educational websites and online emotional intelligence resources, interactive reflection tools and worksheets, instructional video clips, guided reflection and communication exercises, printed workbooks, case scenario scripts, and visual aids for emotional mapping and communication planning.

Equipment
Participants may be required to bring their own laptop depending on the course activities.

Intercultural Learning Dimension

Participants from different countries share experiences, explore cultural perspectives on communication, and develop inclusive strategies for diverse school communities.

Sustainability and Transfer of Learning

Participants are encouraged to implement strategies in their schools, share practices with colleagues, and develop action plans to support long-term professional development.

5 days (2 days travel time)       

Language of Instruction:  English B1 Level - Intermediate 

Certification 

Participants who attend at least 80% of the course will receive a Certificate of Attendance.

Day 2 – Mastering Self-Regulation Techniques

  • Exploring self-regulation strategies

  • Practical exercises for managing emotional responses

  • Moving from reaction to response

  • Developing a personal self-regulation plan

Day 3 – Empathy & Effective Communication

  • Understanding empathy and active listening

  • Non-verbal communication awareness

  • Clear and respectful communication strategies

  • Communication style analysis activities

Day 4 – Conflict Resolution & Roleplays

  • Conflict resolution strategies

  • Managing challenging conversations

  • Interactive roleplay sessions

  • Building positive relationships in school communities

Day 5 – Integration, Evaluation & Cultural Experience

  • Reflection and integration of learning

  • Peer feedback and course evaluation

  • Certification ceremony
